Feed your craving for good retail finds as you gallivant across the best shopping destinations of North Miami Beach, a premier suburb known as one of South Florida's regional shopping areas!

Explore the short but sweet list of malls and shopping spots of North Miami Beach, a first-tier community covering 4.84 square miles midway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale International Airport, with Miami Gardens to its west, unincorporated Ojus to its north, Aventura to its northeast, and east, across the Intracoastal Waterway, the shining city of Sunny Isles Beach.

With its proximity to famous neighborhoods like Aventura, Hallandale Beach, and Bal Harbour, North Miami Beach locals aren't scrimped for choice when it comes to shopping, to say the least!

Most days, they don't even need to travel outside NMB for a quick shopping escapade, thanks to North Miami Beach's own collection of strip malls and retail destinations!

And if you find yourself looking for MORE options, you won't have to go too far — with North Miami Beach's strategic location in the heart of South Florida, your favorite mall is just at your fingertips!

Here are the top five shopping spots in North Miami Beach.

1) Intracoastal Mall

3881 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach, FL 33160

Get a memorable introduction to South Florida's famed shopping experience at North Miami Beach's pride and joy, Intracoastal  Mall, a famous retail destination bursting with all your favorite brands!

Located on the corner of Sunny Isles Boulevard and Northeast 163rd Street, Intracoastal Mall has everything you need, from fashion-forward clothing finds to beauty and wellness essentials, spearheaded by its anchors, TJ Maxx, Winn-Dixie, Old Navy, and IPIC North Miami Beach!

And if you're feeling famished after an exhausting shopping galore, you won't have to go elsewhere!

Intracoastal Mall also boasts a few restaurants, including Racks Italian Kitchen, Duffy's Sports Grill, and Hiro's Yakko-San!

2) Biscayne Commons

14681 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, FL 33181

Up for more of Miami's shopping highlights?

For a quick shopping run within NMB, drop by Biscayne Commons, a 120,00 square feet shopping center adjacent to a mixed-use development and a university campus!

Despite having fewer retail options compared to most malls, Biscayne Commons has earned a spot in the hearts of Miami shoppers for its familiar collection of national retailers and services, including key tenants like ULTA, Publix, and Petco!

The perfect merchandising mix, if I say so myself!

Biscayne Commons also boasts a delicious lineup of sit-down and quick-serve restaurants in the likes of Playa Bowls, Zuru Ramen Bar, Oishi Thai, and Talkin' Tacos, so if you need to grab a bite in between shopping, you won't have to go elsewhere!

3) Mall at 163rd Street

1205 NE 163rd St, Miami, FL 33162

Welcome to the Mall at 163rd Street, formerly an open-air shopping center converted into an enclosed mall with an outdoor retail strip, one of North Miami Beach's well-loved shopping destinations.

Despite being mostly vacant save for a few boutiques and dining options, Mall at 163rd Street remains a favorite on our list, thanks to brand-name retailers like Home Depot, Marshalls, Ross, and Wal-Mart Supercenter that anchor the scene.

That said, it seems there'll be a $150 million makeover for Mall at 163rd Street in the pipeline since it recently sold for more than double its last trade, with a deal that closed at $46 million!

Word from the grapevine is that the new owners plan to boost business at the Mall at 163rd Street with new tenants, retail stores, sports courts, housing, offices, and a brand-new food court, so don't count out this North Miami Beach mall just yet!

In the meantime, enjoy shopping all the essentials you need at this household name until the Mall at 163rd Street transforms into a rejuvenated mixed-use destination in the near(est) future!

Stay tuned!

4) Aventura Mall

19501 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33180

For a taste of Miami's BEST, drive to Aventura and enter the ULTIMATE shopper's paradise of Aventura Mall, one of the top five highest-grossing malls in the USA, just a 7-minute drive from North Miami Beach!

Standing tall at more than 2.7 million square feet, packed to the brim with hundreds of retailers from everyday brands to high-end boutiques, the Aventura Mall's retail scene is like no other!

We're talking department stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, JCPenney, and Sears, alongside over 300 specialty shops, designer stores, and trendy brands on the rise — all your WILDEST retail fantasies are but a few steps away!

Shop from Zara, Free People, All Saints, Hugo Boss, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aritzia, Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Burberry, and more — from daily wear to the ultra-exclusive and couture, these well-loved stores run the gamut, and mind you, you're only looking at the tip of the iceberg

Aventura Mall also boasts a world-class collection of restaurants with every cuisine you can imagine, lifestyle shops, cinemas, and museum-caliber art on display, including sculptures, colorful murals, and the Aventura Slide Tower - a super fun sculpture and functional slide.

Get a little more than just a BIT of EVERYTHING at Aventura Mall, a "LIVE-WORK-PLAY" destination where art, food, beautifully designed spaces, and sought-after brands come together to curate an "only-in-Miami" experience to REMEMBER!

5) The Village at Gulfstream Park

901 S Federal Hwy, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009

If you're expecting a "run of the mill," upscale shopping experience near North Miami Beach, I'll do you one better!

Head to Hallandale Beach and visit The Village at Gulfstream Park, a 9-minute drive from NMB — what's ahead, you'll never see coming!

Offering a posh shopping plaza with all your essentials, from fashion, home furnishings, and housewares to specialty shops and art galleries, The Village at Gulfstream Park is unlike any other shopping destination in Greater Miami.

And why is that you ask?

Well, how many shopping malls have a horse racing track in its center?

Uhuh, that's what I thought!

Aside from prime shopping, championship racing, and thoroughbred horse betting, The Village at Gulfstream Park is home to more than 20 restaurants and bars, including nightlife venues where you can relax alongside drinks and live music after an intense shopping spree.

The Village at Gulfstream Park also boasts three art galleries, a bowling center, and a vibrant casino!
